We are filming our docu-series on a serious budget. Our gear list is a compilation of what we already had as individuals as well as some things provided by Adventures in Missions.

We have three Tiffen variable neutral density filters which allow you to adjust the lighting of your shot with out compromising the aperture or shutter speed. It’s like sunglasses for your camera, accept that it is variable so you set the shade to your needs.
To save money we got step up rings so we could all share the same 77mm ND filters.
We have three Rode mics that we share and use to capture ambient noise and main audio if the person is close to the camera. We also use them a lot for our behind the scenes vlogs.
For interviews we have two H1 handy recorders and an H4. We attach these to lavilier mics and sync the audio in editing. We also have three, ten foot extension cables for the lavs for interviews so one of us can monitor the audio.
We have two Genaray on camera lights that we mount on tri pods.
We have a wide variety of light weight tripods including three by Mifoto.
We also have two Gorilla pods that we mostly use for the behind the scenes vlogs.
We also have two monopods that we use a lot!
Most of our Camera’s don’t have intervalometers, but we have a wireless remote called the Pulse, by Alpine Labs that controls the shutter and can make most camera’s do time lapses.

We also have a huge roll of gaffer tape that we use for taping mics to people in interviews.
Also it’s very worth mentioning that we have two very high tech cell phones with local and international sims so …
We edit on Adobe Primiere Pro and we have six, three TB hard drives, with a direct copy of each. That is all gear, we don’t have a huge set up, but we are doing a lot with a little.
